The document describes a proposed mobile app called "Live Better Live Longer" that aims to help busy mid-age professionals more proactively take care of their health and prevent cardiovascular disease. It does this by (1) providing users with a quick scan of their health risks like stress, diet, activity and medical history, (2) giving them a personalized profile and program with tips, checkups and specialist appointments, and (3) keeping a history of their health metrics and progress over time. Initial user interviews found that people are concerned about future health but have no time for regular checkups and want a concrete service to help them change lifestyle habits step-by-step through an engaging program.

8. First insights (1)
• Interviewed people are active and concern about their
health, physical condition and diet
• Concerned about the future health, are stressed and
have no time for regular check-ups; aware that
prevention is key but how to do it in practice?
• Think about health only when overstressed or feel
unwell or during obligatory checkups (new job, every 5
year job check-up)
• Afraid (irrational) of monitoring health status (what if
something wrong is found?)– want concrete programs
that will keep them in good health not only check-ups
9. First insights (2)
• Despite irregular or seldom check-ups they assume they are fine as
long as they feel good
• Would like a service to help them care more proactively (app can be
a part of it)
• It needs to be a program but with easy start – maybe some partly
diagnosis to engage with
• It should help me change my lifestyle but not too radically, step-bystep
• It should schedule my check-ups but this should be only beginning,
it needs to have a program so I can be calm that if I follow I will be
all right
• The service/app should give a guarantee for better life if somebody
follows its recommendations
• Think about marketing it through women for their
partners/husbands- often mostly afraid to go to the doctor
