With a Major in Sports Business and a Minor in Marketing, I have taken many courses centered on the ideals of both fields. Being a member of the Cross Country and Track teams with Saint Louis University, I have great experience working with others and representing the university. Through training and competition, I have learned the importance about overcoming the obstacles to reach set goals. This has been shown by having to overcome injury in my career to return, after hard work and dedication, to achieve success and improve on past performances. By being detail oriented and an effective planner, I take pride in completing projects on time. With the demanding schedule involved with being a Student-Athlete, I have been able to keep up with classwork and not fall behind despite traveling every weekend for competition. Coupled with my friendly and outgoing manner, I am able to interact well with other staff members, at all levels, and I pride myself in bringing in the right amount of confidence into the equation. I am willing to expand on my skills by working hard, learning, and applying my knowledge to the best of my ability. I look forward to a future in a career that utilizes my experience as a highly motivated team player and further develops my skills in the fields of sports business and marketing. I am dedicated to improving my skills in these fields through dedication in both the work place and in the classroom. With the experiences and responsibilities I have had in the past with being a Student-Athlete and working lawn-care, I am excited to develop in new opportunities. I am confident in my ability and skills that I will be a dedicated player with an opportunity in Sports Business and Marketing.
