This document discusses the benefits of using video interpretation in a migrant health clinic that has served over 650 patients over 5 years. Language barriers can result in less understanding of health information and care, but video interpretation addresses these issues. It allows for more professional consultations by having interpreters who are part of the healthcare team and know the process well. This interpretation method reduces stress for patients with trauma and makes up 20% of consultations. Both patients and providers prefer this approach as it enhances communication and care.
