The Twin Stars Football Club was formed in 2005 and competes in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL), which is classified as the fourth division of soccer in the United States. From 2005-2010, the club was known as the St. Paul TwinStars and played its home games in St. Paul, Minnesota before relocating to Minneapolis in 2011 and becoming the Minnesota TwinStars FC. The team's record has improved over the years from 2-7-1 in 2005 to 6-5-1 in 2011.

2. C lub History
The Twin Stars Football Club were formed in 2005 and compete in the
National Premier Soccer League (NPSL). Part of the U.S. Soccer pyramid,
the NPSL is classified as a Division IV league (behind MLS, NASL, USL Pro)
The NPSL features some of the top U-23 players from around the nation
as well as seasoned players. The other Division IV league in U.S. Soccer is
the USL PDL.
From 2005-2010, the club was know as the St. Paul TwinStars as the
majority of their matches were played at James Griffin Stadium at St.
Paul Central High School (2005-06) and then Macalester Stadium (2007-
10) in St. Paul. The club moved their home base to Augsburg College in
Minneapolis in 2011 and were re-named the Minnesota TwinStars FC. In
2012, the team will call the pitch at Prairie Seeds Academy in Brooklyn
Park their home.
