- 1. 7:15 am Plan my day Looked through my visits for the day at breakfast, added some call-outs that came in overnight. 7:30 am Start my day Checked over my company van, and made my way to my first job. 5:15 pm Wrap up my day Just before I head home I spend 15 minutes planning my visits for the next 3 days. 5:00 pm Productivity Bonus!! Because I have filled my day with visits and performed additional tasks along the way, I have hit my bonus! 5:00 pm Routine visit to supermarket No active pests found but found lots of hygiene issues, reported it to the manager. 11:30 am Emergency visit to factory It can be frustrating when an urgent job comes up, but I like the excitement! 10:30 pm Change of plan! Urgent job came in so had to reschedule my day! 8:05 am Follow-up visit to the Hospital Managed to catch 15 mice over the weekend! To save time, I performed some additional jobs on site 9:30 am Routine visit to a local caf辿 Fitted an electric fly killer in kitchen -they gave me a free coffee while I worked! A day in the life of a Mitie pest technician New job: Crown Pub 5pm for Cockroaches ACCEPT REJECT Rejected: Rescheduled for tomorrow at 9 am 3:30 pm Routine visit to fast food outlet No active pests found. Found proofing issues so submitted a sales lead, so I can earn commission! URGENT JOB INCOMING!! Pigeon trapped in factory! Thinking of a career in pest control?
