2. Introduction
The burning fury to possess to withstand our foes was exactly what the 2011 Zone
Meet had left for each and every one in this two day fire breathing physical prowess.
Fire can wreak havoc yet nothing seemed more scorching than the fire that this
experience ignited. Vast enough to fuel values like discipline, responsibility,
self-confidence, sacrifice and accountability.
3. Venue & Date
The Zone Meet was held from October 21 22, 2011 at Mlang National High School
Ground. The Sports meet started off with a march-past at 8:00am. Mr. Bernard A.
Viloan, principal of the host school received the challenge of a cumbersome but
gratifying sports festivities. The detailed schedule of the games and Zone Meet is
attached alongside.
4. PARTICIPAtion & TEAM Structure
All the athletes were distributed among 4 vibrant colors namely Green (Unit I Mlang
National High School), Red (Unit 2 Tulunan National High School),Blue (Unit 3
Mlang Barangay High Schools) and Yellow (Unit 4 Tulunan Barangay High Schools).
All teams were led by its respective delegation head. This year, the Zone Meet
registered an increase in participation in all events with an equally high spirit of vigor
and enthusiasm..
5. EVEnts
All games were played fair and square by each delegation. Green Team (Unit I) was
declared Champion; Red Team (Unit II) 1st runner up; Yellow Team (Unit 4) 2nd runner
up; and, Blue Team (Unit 3) 3rd runner up. Unit I remained unbridled with the following
sports in its dominions: Soccer, Taekwando, Lawn Tennis, Badminton, and Baseball.
6. Support & Staff
The entire meet was well supported and coordinated by both the teaching and non-
teaching staff. Discipline, integrity and self-esteem were never let down. It was made a
point to keep the whole duration of the Zone Meet orderly through proper dissemination
and implementation as far as the various games were concerned.

7. Conclusion
Everyone endured through the fire. As expected, the event created not only flicker but
a conflagration. This Zone Meet left behind no stain in the prestigious history of the
Zone 2 Athletic Association but opened up a doorstep for future glories to come.
