For decades, Southern States produced and sold switches and mobile operators. Now, at the request of our customers, we also design mobile trailer solutions.

How are mobile trailer solutions made? 3-Dimensional modeling software, Solid Works, is used for design Trailers come with detailed manuals and instructive diagrams Each mobile solution is designed with electrical utility usage in mind
What are the components of a Southern States mobile solutions trailer?
1. A specially designed trailer SS trailers feature crucial racking mechanisms, motor operator supports, and vertical bearing supports. Trailers are also built with high quality materials to ensure that they comply with SAE and DOT standards.
2. Racking mechanisms Our racking mechanisms give you the space you need; SS mechanisms have maximum DOT width and spacing. SS racking mechanisms can also support over 2,000 lbs. per phase and are simple to set up and tear down.
3. Relays and controls SS will customize your trailer's relays and controls for seamless integration with your current system. From sensing and control to annunciator systems, SS will design the relays and controls that your trailer needs.
4. Hydraulic systems SS can construct hydraulic systems for heavy lifting. They are laid out to be protective, functional, and user-friendly. A hydraulic system includes custom cylinders, connectors, a generator, optional tank heaters, and more.
5. Outdoor cabinets Our outdoor cabinets are built to hold batteries, generators, controls -- anything you need. Constructed with either steel or aluminum, SS cabinets are rated NEMA 4 or NEMA 4X for weather protection and durability.
6. Shipping bracing Shipping bracing keeps equipment secure during travel. When g-forces act on your trailer, SS braces hold everything in place. Our shipping braces are made of light-weight aluminum and are easy to attach and remove.
7. Grounding systems SS grounding systems are engineered to maintain equal potential on all components, devices, and areas of the trailer. Our grounding systems are integrated into the trailer design and can reliably ground high-current faults.
