This document discusses financial inclusion for underbanked consumers in Latin America. It notes that there are around 80 million people without bank accounts in Mexico and 250 million in Latin America overall. While microfinance has helped reach some, there are still opportunities to expand access through mobile technology. A proposed solution involves a mobile app that allows underbanked users to access financial services and pay bills through a network of retail stores and partners.
