The solution includes customizable templates for beginners, as well as a blank canvas for the courageous enough to put on their creative hats. PowToon uses drag-and-drop of built-in features, props and characters, and easy searching of images from Flickr. The Pros… There are plenty of fun visuals to choose from. They drawn in the audience through captivating animations. The application makes it quick and easy to get started without much of a learning curve The Cons… There are many steps to get started from just a blank canvas Downloading of the finished product is not an option And timing your animations can be a little frustrating
• #13: Emaze is also Cloud-based solution for animation and 3D presentation building. It offers a video adding feature, templates and pre-designed slides. Templates include ones with 3D walkthroughs, panning and zooming, video with text/image overlay, or Web-based designs that look like a modern, scrolling website. Although the application is primarily based online, it’s also accessible offline, including on mobile devices. It supports HTML5 and CSS3, as well as integrated hyperlink support. This makes for a fluid design easy to navigate by anyone Automaze, is a feature that imports existing PowerPoint files and turns them into themed, animated "journeys.“ If that sounds a bit familiar, you may be thinking of Prezi, a similar "presentation saver" that's been around several years. But HTML5-based Emaze offers more than just "zoom-in, zoom-out" effects, including the option to embed live data. The Pros… I found the tool very versatile and I’ve read similar comments from other users The variety of download formats is a plus The presentations are also highly engaging because of 3D animations You can also get analytics on presentation views The Cons… Though downloading formats are plentiful, sharing the presentation is a bit troublesome Personally, I found technical issues when watching the shared video but it may have been based on how much I used this application
• #14: Easel.ly is a free web-hosted platform for creating infographics. Users can insert icons and shapes, change background and orientation, and rearrange the pre-inserted graphics in a pre-set template (called a “vheme”) to create their own infographics. Using the site is as easy as dragging and dropping design elements, and users can either choose a template from Easel.ly’s extensive library, or they can upload their own background image and start from scratch. Easel.ly is ideal for educators, business owners, and executives who need to convey a thought, lesson plan, or concept in an easy-to-follow visual form. The Pros… Fairly quick to create a simple infographic Easy collaboration capabilities for people on teams which is an added benefit compared to other products out there The Cons… There is a longer initial learning curve on this one I found This is only good for one-pager infographics The images can be rather small so you have to play around with the page sizing I have to say that from the 3 tools I just presented I find Easilly the least favorite. It’s not as intuitive, there’s a frustrating learning curve because things you assume will happen when you select an area or image don’t actually materialize. Therefore it takes a little bit more of get used to than the other tools I tested. In the end it’s an infographic which is a set of images and text that is not all that exciting, it’s not interactive, and not eye-popping.

Canva is a presentation software that has been designed to empower you to create incredible designs. With it, you can create everything from everything from social media graphics, posters and marketing materials to postcards, invitations, different document types and presentations.

It works by detecting what presentation software you have installed on your computer and uses the best—fit program to launch your different media files. The slide-dog interface seamlessly switches between the different appropriate file viewers behind the scenes, thus allowing for a smooth presentation experience. �ݺ�ߣ Dog supports PowerPoint presentations, PDFs, Prezi presentations, Videos, Images, Web Pages, Word Files and Excel files. �ݺ�ߣ Dog pro is the paid version of the software. With the paid membership comes with additional presentation features. These features include: Real-Time sharing - �ݺ�ߣDog lets you remotely control the presentations and playlist from your smart phone, tablet or secondary computer. You can also share your slides in real-time with the audience. Interactive Elements that capture your audience attention. These elements include Presentation Feedback – get feedback from the audience members with your own customized questionnaire Polls – live polls can be launched during the presentation. The audience will answer on their own devices and then the results can be displayed on the screen Audience Chat – Engage the audience by adding a live chat or discussion to answer questions or receive live comments.

It leverages millions of free high quality images to be used for your background while allowing for clear, legible text templates to be overlaid onto the slides. There are multiple different text layouts and templates that empower users to strategically place text where they see fit. The paid version of Haiku Deck is known as Haiku Zuru. It uses Artificial Intelligence to transform existing Powerpoint presentations or an outline on Evernote into a compelling, beautiful visual presentation. It does so by analyzing your content to identify key ideas and then applies expert presentation design principles to construct the most optimal slide layouts. Then it searches through millions of free high-quality images and selects the most relevant pictures to illustrate your ideas. Upon selecting the images, Haiku Deck Zuru then analyzes the texts and images to determine the most effective text placement and background colors.
• #18: Canva leverages hundreds of different best practice template designs for the document you choose to create. You can select from millions of high-quality images or upload some of your own pictures to embed within your document. The attributes of photos selected can be edited to your liking – you can edit the saturation, contrast, focus etc. Then photos can then be placed into one of the many layouts available. Canva also allows you to select from a variety of fonts and text layouts. A multitude of different themes and colors are at your disposal at well. With Canva, the limiting design factor is your imagination.
