KSA  Job duties/ responsibilities:  Assist the HSE Manager / HSE Supervisor in their daily operations.  Apply and implement the Company's IMS (HSE aspects) throughout the duration of the Project.  Ensure that all activities, within his area of responsibility, whether executed by Company’s personnel or subcontractor personnel, are carried out with full regard to HSE Company’s policy and procedures.  Ensure that all personnel are advised of any HSE hazards by delivering induction courses and toolbox talks, and that the necessary controls and contingency arrangements associated with the work activities are in place.  Actively execute or assist in the investigation and reporting of all accidents, incidents and near misses.  Taking prompt corrective action and informing the HSE Manager accordingly with regard to potential HSE hazards.  Maintaining, and participating in, the schedule of meetings, emergency exercises, inspections and audits that are programmed for the project.  Promptly responding to all reports received from any employee of non-compliance, unsafe conditions and activities, accidents and near misses.  Participating in the follow-up and close-out of corrective actions that arise from operational activities, meetings, accidents, incidents, near misses, emergency exercises, inspections or audits that take place within his area of responsibility.  To give guidance and support to the assistant HSE Officer.  Implement the HSE Standards base on the Clients Specification.  Inspect site conditions prior to start of construction activities. Verify the compatibility of the site with the designed permanent works. Check for obstructions. Photograph and document the condition of existing property that might be damaged by the work.
- 2. Monitoring In-charge in all the safety activities on the project site and reports all findings to the project manager.  Ensure the adherence to all Safety Rules, regulations & Procedures stop operation in case a dangerous until remedial measure has been carried out.  Prepare and conduct orientation / induction course to each employee at the beginning of his work operation on the project site.  Prepare and conducts once per month the training in the use of evacuation and escape routes in case of emergency circumstance  Induce an adequate number of employees in fire fighting & fire control.  Prepare schedule for weekly tool box meeting of the supervisors and the regular site staff.  Coordinate medical and first aid service where circumstances dictate.  Compile and process all statistical Records and Reports in respect of Safety Performance.  Be ultimately responsible for Health, Safety and Environmental Protection on the Project site and secure the correction of deficiencies in these matters.  Establish rules, regulations and procedures in conformance with local H. S. E. Laws and Regulations and monitor the appropriate on the project site.  Provide all key personnel employed on the project site with a copy of the Site Safety Execution Plan.  Conduct monthly a Site Safety Meeting during which H. S. E. requirements are being reviewed and (additional) instructions in this respect are being highlighted.  Accompany once a month of the Supervisors on his weekly Safety inspection round.  Review accidents, supervise correction of unsafe practices and file accident reports.  Discipline any employee disregarding the established safety rules, regulations and procedures.  Arrange for festivity after reaching milestones in good Safety performance of the personnel and present reward for remarkably good safety action.  Attempt to ensure safe operation / performance by others on the project site, including Owner’s representatives, personnel of Architects / Consulting Engineers, visitors, the general public and the employees of other Contractors not under control of Project Management.
