KASUTAMISVIISID • Veerand toodetud molübdeenist läheb roostevaba terase tootmiseks, teine veerand määrdeainete tootmiseks ja 50% e pool läheb muuks otstarbeks, peamiselt rauasulamite tootmiseks. • Valmistatakse püssi- ja suurtükkitorusid,soomusplaate,tehaks e ka lennukite reaktiivmootorid ja turbiinid • Molübdeeni on vaja ka inimestel. Peamised molübdeeni sisaldavad toiduained on loomakiha, lehma- ja kitsepiim, austrid, kaunviljad, teravilja d, täisteraviljatooted, kookospähklid, melonid, kakaopulber ja tumerohelised aedviljad

BIOTOIME • Makroelementide sisaldus kehas on üle 0,01% molübdeeni ainet. • Molübdeeni on vaja luukoe tekkeks ja arenguks, vereloomeprotsessideks, mitmete väävliühendite ainevahetuse korrastamiseks, kehavõõraid ühendeid kahjutuks muutvate süsteemide toimimiseks. Kui aga organismis on liiga palju molübdeeni, soodustab see podagra teket. • Mida rohkem molübdeeniühendeid on pinnases, seda molübdeenirikkamad on toiduained, seda suurem on vere kusihappesisaldus, seda rohkem podagrat ja geniaalseid mõtteid... .

KES JA KUIDAS AVASTATI MOLÜBDEENI? • Molübdeeni ainet avastas Carl Wilhelm Scheele,kes oli rootsi keemik ja apteeker. • Molübdeeni ta avastas 1778 aastal kui tegi kindlaks, et õhk on kahe komponendi segu, kuid ei suutnud koostist määrata.Hiljemalt ta valmistas üle kümne happesi millega siis kaasnes iga elemendi avastamisega rida keerulisi laboratoorseid katseid ja igast ei jõua me rääkida,nende hulgast oligi Molübdeen. • Tänapäeval molübdeeni hind ulatub 30.000 tuhande euroni tonni kohta.
