To whom it may concern,
I am pleased to serve as a reference for Mr. Peter Fauci. I have known Peter since Fall 2014 as a student in
my Cultural Foundations courses at New York University in London. Cultural Foundations is a two-
semester core curriculum that centers on the study of the arts produced by diverse cultural traditions across
the globe from the ancient to modern periods. As I hope my observations below will make clear, Mr.
Faucis performance in my class revealed him to be nothing short of an exceptional student.
From the first day of class forward, Mr. Fauci demonstrated a unique ability to learn with an outstanding
academic skill set. Mr. Fauci introduced himself to me before our first class session, exhibiting great
maturity and people-skills that were on display throughout the semester. Mr. Fauci scheduled individual
conferences with me to discuss his papers throughout the year, which illuminates not only his personable
nature but also his exceptional organization and time management skills. Indeed, Mr. Fauci maintained a
flawless attendance record each semester, he was impeccably prepared for each class session, and he
contributed to class discussion on a regular basis. Mr. Fauci deservingly holds the top grade in my class.
Alongside Mr. Faucis high degree of self-discipline and general professionalism, Mr. Fauci was genuinely
eager to learn. In fact, Mr. Fauci traveled to Athens for a first-hand experience of the monuments we
studied in class throughout the Fall semester. I found Mr. Fauci to be an exceptionally cultured student who
took great advantage of the opportunities to intellectually engage in London, and Europe more broadly. His
independent desire to explore the world around him makes him a uniquely well-rounded individual who
seems capable of living most anywhere in the world.
As you can see from Mr. Faucis r辿sum辿, he has consistently sought out pre-professional and professional
opportunities that have allowed him to use his outstanding language skills, including English, Spanish, and
Portuguese. Mr. Fauci has also persistently pursued work opportunities that foster and expand his interest
in the non-profit sectorparticularly in his work as the founder and executive director of Socio Pier. Mr.
Faucis professional work speaks to his unique ability to master the demands of a professional work
environment and make meaningful contributions to any work environment.
I came to know Mr. Fauci to be an extremely mature and engaging student. In addition to his abilities as an
intellect, he is endowed with a warm and engaging personality. He is personable, collegial, and enthusiastic.
He is a pleasure to be around and, as discussed above, he has excellent people skills. I have no doubt in Mr.
Faucis ability to embrace the demands of any professional work environment with great responsibility and
success.
Please do not hesitate to contact me, should you wish any further observations.
Sincerely,
Dr. Molly M. Martin
