Monday Syndrome​ Shotlist  Christine Joung, Eda Aydin, Lora Jung    Scene Shot Shot Size Angle Movement Description Notes 1(morni ng,  home)  1  full  x  x  sound of andrew screaming is heard over black  screen  screaming should sound  whiny    2  LS  high  x  Andrew still screaming. Sarah groans, buries her  face into her pillow and stirs inside blanket.      3  CU  eyelevel  x   After a moment, she screams and buries her face  again.  very messy hair, forehead  frown, eyes closed    4  LS  Sarah  PoV  x  door opens, mom is seen holding clock  mom looks at sarah    5  LS­CU  Mom PoV  moves with mom  mom walks in room with clock in hand and speaks  to Sarah as she puts it on the wall.      6  CU  in front of  face  x  mumbles to mom and forces open one eye.  eye is barely even open    7  LS­CU  Sarah  PoV  zoom in  zoom into clock      8  MS  high  x  Sarah scrunches up her face and groans out her  line. She pulls blanket up to her face.    2  (bathro om)  1  MCU  eyelevel  x  Sarah rubs face with towel, puts it down, picks up  curler and starts curling. After a moment she yelps  in pain and quickly pulls out curler from hair (curled  in a weird way). She puts down curler and sighs,  looking even more agitated. Mom’s voice is heard  yelling, Sarah says her line and ties up her hair.  She runs out of the camera frame.   annoyed face    2  MLS  eyelevel  x  Sarah runs out of bathroom, door closes  transition to next scene  should be smooth,  connected by sound of  door opening  3  1  LS­VL S  low  towards Sarah  Sarah opens door,  runs  with cellphone in hand    (run  drop  phone)  2  MCU  eyelevel  x  feet shown running, phone drops, sarah stops and  picks up phone      3  MCU  low  x  worried expression      4  CU  high  Sarah  POV  x  close up of phone screen. Screen is shattered,  phone doesn’t turn on when she presses the power  button      5  WS  low  towards Sarah  Sarah:”Damn it!” with annoyed face. sighs and  starts running again.   
Scene Shot Shot Size Angle Movement Description Notes 4  (bus  puke)  1  MED  high  moves to show  friend when  friend talks  in bus. Sarah looks out the window, no facial  expression. puking sound is heard but no reaction  from sarah for a moment. after a while, sarah sniffs,  pinches her nose and talks to friend next to her.  She turns her head away back out the window.  earphones on. takes  earphones off when  talking  5(walk  to  school)  1  LS  eyelevel  moves towards  sarah as she  walks towards  school  ppl get out of bus      2  MS  eyelevel  moves with  actors  sarah walks, tired expression, slowly, jamie calls  sarah, runs up from behind  camera in front of actors    3  MCU  Sarah  PoV  tilt top to bottom  sarah scans jamie  smile jamie    4  MCU  eyelevel,  about 45°  to the side  facing  Sarah  cameraman  moves with  actors, as sound  fades  cameraman  stops in place  and only the  camera moves  to show them go  in building  Sarah and Jamie talk  towards the end of convo  the sound of them talking  should fade out after the  cameraman stops moving  6  (locker)  1  MCU  eyelevel  x  Sarah and Jamie check phones, talk, Sarah opens  locker angrily while jamie looks at phone and types  with a bright expression  Jamie: enthusiastically  Sarah: unhappy  expression    2  CU  eyelevel  x  sarah angrily puts books in locker with mad face,  slams door shut  camera inside locker  facing sarah  black screen when door is  slammed shut­transition to  next scene  7  (math)  1  CU of  pencilc ase  high  x  sarah takes out pencil, eraser from pencil case  while teacher talks  voice only of teacher    2  CU  Sarah  PoV  x  test paper. 1st problem. sarah’s hand is shown  ticking her pencil back and forth  sound of clock    3  MCU  high  x  sarah holds test paper showing frustration, biting  nails, frowning, sighs   pen keeps ticking, sound  of clock heard    4  MCU  from the  side,  more  facing  sarah    sarah hands in test paper to teacher, convo goes on  sarah­depressed face  teacher­confused face    5  MCU  eyelevel  moves with  actors, then  stops after final  line to show  actors walking   sarah and jamie talk about test and volleyball
