The Taj Mahal in Agra was built by Shah Jahan as a memorial for his wife Mumtaz Begum. Construction started in 1632 AD and took 22 years to complete, using marble from Makrana and precious stones. Panch Mahal in Agra was built by Emperor Akbar as a pleasure palace for relaxation and entertainment, with a pool called the Anoop Talao in front. Bibi ka Maqbara in Aurangabad, also known as the Dakkani Taj, was built by Aurangzeb between 1651-1661 AD as a mausoleum for his wife Dilras Banu Begum, with four minarets and a Charbagh garden layout.
