1. He was able to help those in need because he felt their sufferings. Through this, he showed that love is the cure for every struggle. If we do things with love and out of love, people can feel God in us. By applying the good things he read from the Bible, he also showed he cares. And when he showed it, he also let the people feel God’s presence, God’s love, that God really exist. Even if people can’t see Him, they feel him through others.
2. We should trust ourselves in Him so that we may share our faith to others and we may share God with them too. We can greatly help because of our faith. We are the instrument of God to bring the others back to Him. Our faith in Him gives us the courage to spread His word and make the people know that He is always there for them, that they should not hesitate in calling God, that no matter how many times they have sinned, God will always forgive them and accept them.
3. Changes in your life can strengthen you, make you a better person, enlighten your path, and with these changes, know that God will never abandon you. People come and go, they are not made to stick with us forever, they are made to help make a change in our being. They are made because God wanted us to learn how to love even if there is no assurance of them staying, even if they will go. He wants us to learn how to love others even if they already left because through this, we love God more since we learned how to love even if we can’t see Him.
4. We are all interconnected. Our actions affect one another that is why we should be careful in what we are doing because all our action to others will show how we treat God. If we do not welcome others, befriend them, love them, it is also what we are doing to God. We should never hesitate to help people even if some say they are already abusing you. Let them see God in you that even if they always use you, then turn their back on you, you will still accept them for God is merciful and forgiving and we should be like Him even if it’s hard. The happiness it brings is all worth it.
5. If you accepted your neighbor no matter how he looks, how cruel he is, how irritating he is, how different he is then you are welcoming God into your life. If you are able to make sacrifices for others like lending your food though you still want it for yourself, giving time to hear their stories even when you are busy, saving others who are being bullied though it will just gain you enemies, and such things, then you are welcoming God. Accepting the imperfection of the people. Give without thinking or demanding for return. Loving even if it hurts like how God love the people even if they refuse o welcome him.
