4. Ken Morgan; Principal
Morgan Golf Design
Ken's design expertise has evolved over the years, working with PGA Tour players and architects, Jack
Nicklaus, Jerry Pate, and David Toms. These premier designers have given him invaluable experience and
contrasting exposure to many styles. Working with professional golfers has given him an understanding of
the game as viewed thru the eyes of a professional tour player. Ken has produced top quality designs which
characterize the way in which he approaches every project. The key to a quality course design is constant
on-site supervision and planning.
Ken has a Bachelors of Landscape Architecture from the University of Georgia and has extensive
experience in landscape architecture, land planning, and golf course architecture.
Prior to forming Morgan Golf Design, Ken served as Senior Design Associate for Jerry Pate Golf Design,
Senior Design Associate for Dico Golf, and Design Coordinator and Production Staff for Jack Nicklaus
Golf Services. His project experience has focused primarily on planning, design, and construction
supervision of golf course design projects.

Jack Nicklaus' personal putting green, North Palm Beach, Florida.
Kiva Dunes, Fort Morgan, Alabama, (with Jerry Pate Golf Design), a semi-private club nestled between Mobile Bay and the
Gulf of Mexico. The course opened in April 1995 and was judged by Golf Digest "Second Best Public Course" for 1995 and as
the "Best Public Course in Alabama".
Steelwood, Loxley, Alabama, (with Jerry Pate Golf Design), a private club overlooking a 200-acre lake. The course was
completed in the fall of 1997 and was judged by Golf Digest " Fifth Best New Private Course" for 1998.
Dancing Rabbit (Azaleas & Oaks Course), Philadelphia, Mississippi, (with Jerry Pate Golf Design), ia co-design with Tom
Fazio for the Choctaw Indians. It is located on the Reservation adjacent to the Silver Star Casino. The course was open for
play in the fall of 1997 and was judged by Golf Digest " Sixth Best New Resort Course" for 1998. Ranked in Golf Top 100
Courses You Can Play and Top 10 New Course You Can Play, and Golf and Travel Top 100 Modern Courses.
Canebrake Golf Club, Hattiesburg, Mississippi, (with Jerry Pate Golf Design), a residential golf course community located in
the heart of Mississippi. Some say that it is the hidden jewel of Mississippi golf. The course opened in 1998 and was judged by
Golf Digest "Second Best New Affordable Public Course" for 1999.
Limestone Springs Golf Club, Oneonta, Alabama, (with Jerry Pate Golf Design), a residential golf course community located
in the Sand Mountains just north of Birmingham, Alabama. The course was completed in the fall of 1998, and was judged by
Golf Digest "Eighth Best New Upscale Public Course" for 1999.
Doral Resort (Silver Course), Miami, Florida, (with Jerry Pate Golf Design), The world-renowned Doral Resort and Spa is
located in Miami, Florida and is home to the Doral-Ryder Open. The Silver Course, one of the sister courses to the Blue
Course, underwent an extensive renovation.
Rancho La Quinta, La Quinta, California, (with Jerry Pate Golf Design), a residential golf course community located in the
desert east of Palm Springs, California. The Pate Course is the sister course to the Jones Course, home of the Skins Game
96, 97, and 98. The golf course is one of the best in the desert.
Bear Creek Golf Club, Douglasville, Georgia, a residential golf community west of Atlanta, Georgia. Integrated Golf Services
of Atlanta, Georgia was provided greens plans for the project. The course opened in the fall of 2000 and was judged by Golf
Atlanta as "Fifth Best Public Course in Atlanta". The course also appeared in the Nov. 00 issue of Golf Course News.
La Tour Golf Club, Lockport, Louisiana, a David Toms/ Morgan Golf Design golf course community located south of New
Orleans, Louisiana. Conveniently located between New Orleans and Grand Isle, this community offers a getaway for the avid
sportsman, with access to some of the best fishing, golfing and hunting on the Gulf Coast. The project opened for play in
September of 2009.
6. Mike Russo, ASIC, CID

Mike Russo is the principal irrigation consultant for Morgan Golf Design and is also a principal of Coast 2
Coast Irrigation and Design Group, Inc. For the past twenty years he has been involved in all facets of the
irrigation industry, including, service, troubleshooting, design, and consultation.
Experiencing irrigation from the drafting table to the trench, Mr. Russo is able to better understand the
complexities and science of irrigation design and consulting. By using his field knowledge of proper installation
procedures, he designs with efficiency, quality, and longevity in mind. This knowledge has been instilled into
approximately 1200 projects that he has designed or has been directly associated with in his career.
His designs include a broad range of projects including golf courses, hotel & Resort developments, residential
communities, corporate office parks, athletic fields and recreational facilities. Mr. Russos goal through
innovative design is to create an environment which incorporates the conscientious use of water by virtue of
conservation technology, alternative water sources and responsible water management.

Prior to working with Morgan Golf Design, Mr. Clark worked with Land Design as a Principal and Project
Manager. Based in Nashville, he was responsible for the design and management of firm projects including large-
scale mixed-use and resort developments, both domestic and internationally. Mr. Clark is a LEED-accredited
professional and has valuable experience leading multi-disciplinary teams.
With 15 years experience, Mr. Clarks specific expertise is in resort and multi-family communities, contributing to all
phases of project design/development from preliminary concepts through construction documentation, permitting,
and implementation. But the best qualities he offers clients are the passion and energy to solve problems with
creativity and the ability to manage a team of consultants who are charged with creating a special identity and
character for a resort, master planned community, or specialty/mixed-use project.
Mr. Clark earned a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from Mississippi State University and a Master of
Science in Urban and Regional Planning from University of Tennessee and is a registered landscape architect in
Tennessee, Kentucky, Illinois and Alabama.
He is also a member of several professional organizations, including:
the American Society of Landscape Architects, Urban Land Institute, Congress for New Urbanism, U.S. Green
Building Council, and Young Leaders Council. He is also on the board of directors for the Nashville Civil Design
Center.
9. YUL ROE, ASLA, CSLA Landscape Architect
Morgan Golf Design
As a landscape architect and project manager for HSA, Mr. Roe is responsible for the planning, design, management and
implementation of residential and resort based development projects.
Mr. Roe combines extensive golf course resort development expertise with a thorough understanding of construction and overall project
management. He is actively involved in the design process and production of construction documents for all aspects of the golf course, and
resort related landscape components. He directs all field related activities and liaises with other professional consultants to assist in the
management of the design and construction implementation process.
Mr. Roe has collaborated with a number of golf course architects throughout the western United States and Canada to develop
landscapes that accentuate the playability and strategy and enhance the overall golfing experience.
