Mother Teresa was born in 1910 and joined the Loreto order of nuns in 1928, taking the name Sister Teresa. She had a passion for helping the poor and educating children. In 1946, she started a school in Calcutta and began caring for the destitute and starving. Throughout her life, she rescued children during war, donated money to support India's poor, and was granted honorary citizenship by the United States for her humanitarian efforts.
