CONCEPT AND SIGNIFICANCE OF
THE TOPIC IN EDUCATION
 Definition of moulding : The social behavior of students : the
role of schools as agents of socialization and institutions of
learning.
 Definition of discipline : The practice of training people to obey
rules or a code of behavior by using punishment to correct
disobedience.
CONCEPT OF DISCIPLINE
 Aims at making education free from the bondage of rigid
discipline under which children were tortured.
 Naturalism advocates maximum freedom from the child and
freedom of the child disciplines him and he is naturally
controlled by his own learning and experiences.
THE IMPORTANCE OF MOULDING

 Students become more systematic
 To ensure a better future for the students
 Produce more systematic students

 Focus on the positive
A teacher who has been the subject of an overall negative or
critical elements needs to focus on the positive aspects in an
attempt to try and balance out the general impression
 Take advantage of any assistance offered
If a teacher can react constructively to a negative situation,
regardless of personal feelings, this may actually turn out to
be an opportunity for professional growth and advancement
 Dont panic
Perhaps the most important piece of advice to
remember with regard to a negative classroom is to
avoid thinking too far into it.
 Keep a sharp eye on the students
Prior to the fact that discipline problems are mainly
caused by the students, a teacher needs to be fully
aware of their actions and behavior.
 Increase parental involvement
Besides teachers, the parents are the only
ones that can make a difference in student
achievement and behavior.
 Keep the students busy and involved
A teacher has to make the learning
environment much more fun and enjoyable
and make sure all the students are involved.
CONCLUSION
 In conclusion, the moulding of discipline is a very important
aspect that must be followed. Therefore, it is our job and
responsibility as the teachers to ensure that the students well
behaved in order to accomplish a successful learning
environment.
