This document outlines the plan for the ARTClone project which aims to create a web service to detect software clones in Java code. It discusses using OpenProj for project planning, scheduling and monitoring tasks. Key milestones include envisioning, design, implementation, testing, and deployment phases. The envisioning phase specifies two students and their resources for developing the clone detector using the ART platform in Eclipse. The design phase involves both students contributing to the architecture. OpenProj is concluded to offer a well-structured view of the entire project and ability to dynamically adjust tasks.
6. Envisioning Phase
o the human resources are 2 students : Alexandra Iacob and Anca Mihalache
o other resources : 2 PCs, ART platform
o development platform : eclipse
o familiarization with the ART platform (constructs the java codes model)
7. Design Phase
o in the design phase both students contribute to the architectures elaboration
o the project manager will assign the implementation tasks
12. Conclusions
OpenProj offers a very well structured view of
the entire project, but also a certain phase of
the project can be detailed. There are different
perspectives of the project (e.g. Gantt, Network
etc.). Theres a feature for assigning tasks to the
human resources. OpenProj allows dynamic
adjustment of tasks.
