This document discusses sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and teen pregnancy. It provides information on common bacterial and viral STIs, including their causes and whether they are curable. Bacterial STIs like chlamydia and gonorrhea are treatable with antibiotics, while viral STIs like HPV and herpes have no cure. Peer pressure, insecurity, and lack of education are listed as root causes of teen pregnancy and STIs. The document proposes three solutions: holding wellness workshops and STI testing every three months, bringing in a guest speaker with AIDS to share their experience, and giving daily public service announcements with STI statistics.
