Mediterranean Shipping Company announced another general rate increase for shipments from East Asia to Mexico, Central America, and South America. The rate increase of $500, $1000, or $1000 per 20-foot, 40-foot, or 40-foot high cube container respectively will take effect on January 15th, 2013 based on the proforma sailing date.
