You must pay Rs. 150 for 3 months of safe custody of your MTS connection. If safe custody is needed for only 1-2 months, you pay Rs. 150 initially and the remaining months are waived. Your account must be more than 3 months old and any outstanding balance must be paid before safe custody. To request safe custody, email customercare@mtsindia.in or submit a written request at an MTS retail outlet. To migrate to a postpaid plan, visit an MTS outlet with proof of identity, address, photograph, PAN/Form 60/61, and filled customer and tariff forms. The migration process takes 72 hours.
