She is ACTIVE and quite
HAPPY and satisfied with HER LIFE.

6

ACTIVITIES at the LOCAL COMMUNITY

8
MTS More than Stories, 2011 Asian Smart Living Summer School, Team 5,
But,
sometimes Fu-Main has the feeling
that she doesn卒t get enough
OPPORTUNITIES to be and feel
even more
USEFUL and IMPORTANT.

10
Also,
Fu-Main feels that it would be nice to meet
YOUNG PEOPLE more often
and tell them the many
STORIES SHE KNOWS.

11
She would love to have more CHANCES to
share and pass on her years of
EXPERIENCE and KNOWLEDGE to the
younger generation.

12
e.g. HOW to cook persimmon soup or how
to use persimmon juice in dyeing fabric.

13
Or to teach the disappearing Taiwanese
language to the young Taiwanese people.

14
Although Fu-Main is in good PHYSICAL
CONDITION for her age,
she SOMETIMES thinks she could use a
good young pair of HELPING HANDS.

15
POLAR is a 22-year old STUDENT majoring
in civil engineering at National Taiwan
University.

16
