India is a diverse country with over 1 billion people spread across 3.2 million square kilometers. It has a stable democracy and independent judiciary. Agriculture is an important sector, with India possessing 10% of the world's arable land. India has a 5000 year history and was influenced by various civilizations and empires over the centuries. It made significant contributions in various fields like yoga, ayurveda, mathematics and architecture. India is also linguistically, religiously and culturally diverse with 29 states and 7 union territories each showcasing their unique characteristics. It has a large talent pool and is an important provider of skilled labor at cost effective prices to the global workforce.
