Globalization The world today is very different from the way in which my Grandparents lived. Technology also makes everything global. The internet can connect people from all parts of the world. As companies outsource, they interconnect our world. Trade agreements like the European Union and the World Trade Organization are also a part of globalization. The blending of cultures is an example of globalization; migration, and missionaries
Over the summer break, I took a trip to Baja California (Mexico). Although I went to a touristy location, there were still opportunities to see the true culture of Mexico. The most impacting thing about this trip was seeing the major and minor differences in the way people live, from the way in which people drive, to the types of homes they live in. Travel
Possessions Things like cell phones, clothing, cars, and other supplies come from manufacturing companies. The individual parts of these items may be made in different parts of the world.
