Shri Natubhai Chhotabhai Patel (13-11-1928 to 1-2-2017) who was LIFE PARTNER of Mrs. Pravinaben Natubhai Patel FATHER of Prof. Vibhuti Patel-Chandramauli Patel-Baijanath Patel, GRAND FATHER of Lara Jesani-Karan Patel, Kunal Patel, Mann Patel FATHER IN LAW of Dr. Amar Jesani, Mrs. Smita Chandramauli Patel-Mrs. Manisha Baijanath Patel lived a purposeful life of 35 years as a Civil Engineer for public sector enterprises such as PWD, Indian Railways, Bhilai Steel Plants, Patel Refinery and Oil and Natural Gas Service (ONGC) of Government of India.

- 1. Caring husband, concerned father, loving grandfather Sincere, Simple, Sensitive, Hardworking & humane officer of the Public Sector of India 1 (13th November 1928 to 1st February 2017)
- 2. Work is worship After completing his B.Sc. and B. Engg. (Civil) in 1955, Natudada joined PWD for construction of Ukai dam In 1956, for a brief span of time he worked for the Indian Railways In 1959, Natudada joined Bhilai Steel Plant In 1962, he joined Patel Refineries in Ranchi and later on and was transferred to Barouni. In 1963, Mr. N. C. Patel joined ONGC as an executive engineer where his 1st posting was in Ankaleshwar and he retired in 1986 as SE, Project Manager of Hazia Plant. As a field based engineer, he had to lead a nomads life, worked at 18 different places in Western, Northern, Eastern and North Eastern parts of India. 2

- 6. Post his retirement, they settled down in Vadodara, where he spent much of his time in house keeping, caring for his grandchildren, garden and Pravina Ba who was an asthma patient, and in seva and music 6 1966 2011

- 55. He passed away at home in Bombay on the morning of 1st February 2017, two years one month after his wife, whom he missed dearly He had filed for body donation at Mahatma Gandhi Missions Medical College at Kharghar, Navi Mumbai, where his body was donated on the same day. 55
