The Texas outbreak has slowed down, but sporadic cases continue to emerge in Kansas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico.
Elsewhere in the US, we continue to see signs of acceleration due to outbreaks outside the Southwest (North Dakota, Montana, and Colorado) and travel-related cases. Measles exposures due to travel are expected to pose a significant challenge throughout the summer.
The U.S. is on track to exceed its 30-year high for measles cases (1,274) within the next two weeks.

- 2. What is ROTC A Reserve Office Training Corps (ROTC) is a college program that exists in many countries. The purpose of the ROTC is to train students to become officers in the military force of their country, should they elect to serve after college. There are specifically military colleges, which offer ROTC programs, and also private and public schools, which can allow a student to participate in ROTC. Generally military schools have almost exclusively ROTC programs.
- 3. Benefits of ROTC Benefits for students that join the R.O.T.C program, are already one step ahead of the other teenagers in to school. The R.O.T.C motto is "To Motivate Young People to be Better Citizens", with this saying all teenage Cadets are encouraged to follow certain rules away from regular school rules, making R.O.T.C Cadets unique among the other students. And if you graduate for your four year course you have two options if you go over with your course or join in the task force .
