Peter Motykowski presented on API Hack Day, a coding event where developers build apps using APIs. The event was held in Denver and attended by David Waite, Ian Jaffe, Joshua Sindy, Jason Reicheneker, Matt Peterson, and Peter from Ping Identity. They brainstormed ideas and voted to create a mobile app for micro-donations to local charities using Mapquest and other APIs. While they made progress on some iOS screens, in retrospect a web app may have been better. The event was a fun team building experience and a chance to learn about other technologies.
