Fans voted for the starters of the Eastern and Western Conference NBA All-Star teams. The coaches then voted for the remaining seven players for each conference. The starters for the Eastern Conference are Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Kyrie Irving, and Paul George, coached by Frank Vogel. The Western Conference starters are Kevin Durant, Blake Griffin, Kobe Bryant, Stephen Curry, and Kevin Love, coached by Scott Brooks. Lebron James received the most fan votes with over 1.4 million. Irving, George, Curry and Love will all be making their first All-Star starting appearances. Kobe Bryant was voted in but may not play due to injury.
