- 7. n 12 March 2012 Ministerial announcement of 2bn investment in schools over the next 5 years. n Traditional Funding source, i.e. Exchequer funded. n Programme includes replacement schools, school extensions and alterations to existing schools. n Programme delivery to be supported by VECs, NDFA, OPW and Local Authorities in addition to local schools and Department. n NDFA engaged to support the delivery of 17 schools.
