The Network Economics and Services Group conducts research in economic models, incentive mechanisms, and mechanism design for network services, traffic control, shared infrastructures, demand response, energy efficiency, network interconnection, cloud services, auctions, socio-economic analysis, trust and reputation, the future internet, smart grids, sharing economies, the internet of things, cloud computing, regulation for telecoms and energy, and next generation wireless networks. The group has key faculty members, postdoctoral and PhD researchers, international collaborations, and has completed over 12 major projects since 2007 with interdisciplinary expertise in ICT, economics, and electrical engineering.
