Assignment Manage a facebook page that will engage your University community and generate ¡®likes¡¯ Host a 24 hour Text-a-Thon campaign / activation to raise funds for Children¡¯s Miracle Network Complete and submit your team¡¯s wrap-up report
Text-a-Thon Your team will be assigned a ¡®key word¡¯ that you will use during your execution Key words are ¡®KIDS1¡¯ through ¡®KIDS24¡¯ Key word to be texted to short code 45678 As each team will have their own unique key word, the distribution of the funds raised will go to the local Children¡¯s Miracle Network in the area in which the donations are received i.e. If a donation comes from Ottawa, then the Ottawa chapter of Children¡¯s Miracle Network will receive the funds
Objectives Facilitate two-way dialogue on your facebook page  Generate ¡®likes¡¯ on your facebook page Raise funds for Children¡¯s Miracle Network Be creative and original
Measurements The challenge will be evaluated and scored by the Challenge Judges based on the following criteria on a scale of 3, 6 or 9 points awarded based on ranking from your University: Level of creativity and originality in meeting the objectives of the challenge Number of ¡®likes¡¯ Funds raised for Children¡¯s Miracle network  Number of unique phone numbers aggregated at Text-a-Thon Number of wall posts / photos, videos by facebook Fans Professionalism and Timeliness 0 or 5 points
Immediate Requirements Briefing: October 16 Questions deadline: EOD Tuesday, October 19 Answers: EOD Friday, October 22 Proposals Deadline: EOD Tuesday, October 26 Proposal Feedback: By Friday, October 29 Proposal re-submission: Monday, November 1 Final approval: Wednesday, November 3
Key Dates Challenge end date:  November 21, 2010 11:59:59 EST Judging:  November 24 ¨C December 1, 2010 Results Released:  Week of December 6, 2010
