Network Services Company implemented a portal solution using IBM WebSphere Portal and Quickr software to improve collaboration and bring more value to members, employees, and customers. The multi-phase project included developing a new company website in phase I, adding a member access portal in phase II, and planned employee and supplier portals. The portal platform provided single sign-on, self-administration, role-based access controls, and integrated legacy applications and new applications through portlets. The project achieved its goals of improving the company image, providing easier to manage dynamic content, and facilitating communication across the organization.
