This document defines a series of words: blithe means happy and carefree; cede means to yield or transfer title; filial refers to the relationship between parents and children; chagrin means disappointment or embarrassment; proficient means skilled or expert; debonair means graceful and charming; intrinsic means inherent or belonging by nature; interpose means to put or come between; remission means a release or lessening; and percipitate means to cause to happen quickly or suddenly in a reckless manner.
