Jieyi Yang received a Master of Arts in Illustration from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2015 and a Bachelor of Arts in Animation from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in 2010. She has strong digital skills including Adobe Creative Cloud and traditional art skills such as drawing, painting, and printmaking. She owned and operated Pure Crystal, Inc. in Xiamen, China from 2007 to 2010. She has received awards including SCAD Honour Award and was featured in exhibitions at SCAD and Le Snoot Gallery.
