This document outlines a plan to improve traffic circulation and gateways in downtown New Rochelle, NY. Key aspects of the plan include making the train station more accessible by foot and bike by converting Station Plaza North to one-way traffic, implementing road diets on North Avenue and Main/Huguenot Streets, building new pedestrian and bike connections including a shuttle and routes to the waterfront, and improving wayfinding signage.
