On the News page, the designer:
1) Wrote a single in-depth article instead of two vague ones to provide more useful information to readers.
2) Added one additional image for a total of three images to represent the article, ordered to illustrate the history of AFC Wimbledon.
3) Included league tables for League 1, League 2, and the Championship at the bottom to focus on the lower divisions of English football.
2. On the News page I think I roughly maintained the design in
terms of the layout and the writing, however I made a few
alterations.
First of all I decided to write one article instead of two, and
wrote that one article in huge depth. I did this because I felt
like it would be more useful for the reader to have a
detailed article instead of two vague ones.
One minor addition would be adding 3 images instead of 2
as I thought they were perfect representations of the article.
I specifically chose this order as the first image shows the
AFC Wimbledon fans passionate and united with each
other, to support the team that they had created. The
second image represents the success that the team gained
with that passion and motivation, and lastly the third image
is the model of potentially their new stadium. In conclusion,
the images perfectly illustrate the history of AFC
Wimbledon
I also added a section at the bottom of the page that
contained the league tables of both league1, league2, and
the championship. I avoided using the premier league table
to focus strictly on the lower leagues of English football.
This decision will hopefully attract attention to the lower
divisions.
