    ICC TODAY

ICC is one of the few organizations that can hold presidents,
ministers and similar officers individually responsible for crimes

2/3rds of votes needed to take action

If the ICC does not have jurisdiction over a certain country (like
Syria), the UN can still give it permission to become involved.
Nevertheless the UN is failing to do so.

When the person who committed the crime cannot pay, the ICC
will provide the money from its trust fund
