- 3. Opening 2-5 minutes In the opening of this film there is a car and is driving through an road in what looks like the countryside, when they get to the end of the road they enter a grave yard this gives the audience watching a feeling that something bad is going to happen.
- 4. Location was in a countryside which led to a graveyard. Characters are a young girl and young man.
- 5. The camerawork and the effects were basic, when I was watching the opening it looked like the camera was a little shaky constantly. Editing techniques were mostly cuts and mixes which I thought looked because it was invisible editing.
- 6. Sound which was used was giving the effect that it was a scary movie, the music sounded like it was in a haunted place this really sets the scene and mood of the opening, I realised that the music got louder as the car approached the graveyard.
- 7. The genre was shown well because the cemetery and because of how quiet it was around the car, it gives a feeling of something bad happening. Also because it’s set in a graveyard it makes the scene scary and tense because the audience know that something is going to happen.
- 8. The titles were coming up when there wasn’t much going on in the background so that the audience were looking at titles. I thought that the titles were not presented too well because the writing was white and wasn’t very thick which didn’t make it look very interesting and gave nothing away about what the film would be like because it didn’t look like a horror film at first.
- 9. The audience which this film is appointed to is 18 or over, I think this is an appropriate audience for this film because it is a horror film which makes it scary and gory for the audience to watch.
- 10. What I could use from this film is the idea of using sound in the background of the opening I think this would be good, because it sets the scene for the film and makes the film a lot more scary and if there isn’t much movement in the film and there isn’t any clues about what kind of film it’s going to be like so the sound really sets the scene. Ideas that I have transferred to my opening sequence from this film
