DEVOPS (Jakarta/Singapore/Manila) Niometrics is looking for talented developers and/or system administrators to support our growing business in a DevOps style because in Niometrics, we do not take our software to the wall that separates development and operations. We build and operate in a rapid cycle of development, testing, release and deployment. As part of the DevOps team, you will seek and improve technology implementations of our software solution, integrating and customizing various open-source and proprietary solutions to support our day-to-day operations, and keep the environments running. Requirements: BS or MS in Computer Science, fresh graduates are welcomed. Fundamental knowledge of all-things Linux. In-depth knowledge of fundamental Internet service standards including DHCP, DNS, SMTP, SNMP, HTTP, and other related services. Ability to rapidly test, deploy, and understand open-source and proprietary technologies and tools. Comfort with with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment. Strong understanding of networking from principles to application. Scripting skills in Bash and at least one additional administrative language such as Python, Ruby, Perl, or PHP. Strong grasp of automation tools. Exhibit a high attention to detail, adjust quickly to an ever-changing and evolving environment, and sharp analytical competency for all things technology. Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders. Occasional domestic and/or international travel. Additionally, a strong candidate would be: Have minimum of 2 years of experience in IT operations which focuses on service stability, security, and customer satisfaction Experienced with Ansible and Zabbix Experienced with Nginx, Lighttpd, Vagrant, Codeception, or Jenkins Experienced with container/virtualization, including Vagrant, Docker, VirtualBox, or VMWare Email your CVs/Resumes (and portfolio if available) to recruitment@niometrics.com Only shortlisted applicants will be notified.
UX DESIGNER (Singapore/Jakarta) UX designers help to create new dashboard experiences in visualizing large data sets for the business user. You must have previous experience developing web and/or software products, and must have a well-defined aesthetic and design sense. You will be working alongside an A-list team of core developers, so you must be self-motivated, team-driven, a good communicator, and work independently on tight deadlines. Responsibilities: Design and develop engaging and user-friendly user interfaces Work with other core developers to achieve UI deliverables Requirements: Previous web, software and/or UI/UX design experience Strong visual aesthetic, good typography and design skills User experience oriented with an eye for design details Eager to create, test and put UI/UX concepts to work Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite and relevant design tools Basic Proficiency in HTML/CSS will be a bonus High level of integrity with a strong work ethic and a team player *Please provide a portfolio along with your CV/Resume. Responsibilities: Design and develop a real-time, dynamic, HTML5 based data visualization dashboard and platform. Work with other core developers to achieve UI deliverables. Requirements: Web and/or software design UI/UX experience Proficient in HTML/CSS and comfortable with Javascript, Ajax and Canvas Prior experience with the following skills will be a big plus: D3 (General purpose visualization and statistics library) RaphaelJS (SVG library provided a high level cross platform API) AngularJS (structural framework for dynamic web apps) Lodash (functional data handling library) Mobile and multi touch user interface is an advantage Solid understanding of cross-browser/platform consistency and compatibility High level of integrity with a strong work ethic *Please provide a portfolio along with your CV/Resume.
