National Information Technology Employees Sena (NITES) has received multiple complaints from employees of CAPGEMINI TECHNOLOGY SERVICES INDIA LTD regarding the deduction of leaves and forcing employees to apply leaves without pay or take leave without payment during the lockdown period. NITES has written to the District Magistrate to bring attention to CAPGEMINI violating provisions of the Disaster Management Act and Epidemic Act by illegally forcing employees to take leave without pay. NITES requests the District Magistrate to direct CAPGEMINI to not force employees to take leave without pay during the lockdown and ensure employees' wages are protected.
