NN2020 is a non-profit organization aiming to promote renewable energy and sustainable development in Nigeria, particularly in the areas of energy and transport. It aims to facilitate funding for the Coal City sustainable development project using renewable resources like solar and wind. The core goals are to coordinate government departments to discuss sustainable development pathways by end of 2015, obtain an MOU for use of coal and renewables in 50% of government offices by 2020, and deliver requests for proposals from operators for a coal-based mass transit system incorporating renewables by long term.

Short term; co-ordinate government departments including planning, Energy/power, finance and trade & industry to begin attending annual roundtable to discuss alternative low carbon, sustainable development pathways by the end of 2015. ?
