Bruce Carrigan
Bruce has been a resident of Westminster Village
for more than two years and is always willing to help
other residents, including assisting them with their
monthly MANNA box deliveries.
Beyond his everyday eagerness to lend a helping
hand, Bruce also routinely keeps the area around the
front of the building clean and looking its best. An
outdoorsy person who enjoys going for long walks, he
ensures our pond landscaping always looks its best so
we can enjoy the beautiful water scenery all year long.
We are proud to have Bruce as a part of our family of
volunteers.

Pat Draut
Pat has a passion for creativity and she uses this
as a way to give back. She leads sewing classes at the
community and crochets hats and scarves for the
philanthropic organization, Scarf Bomb Jax. Always
with a positive, can-do attitude, Pat knows how to
lead a group and take initiative in raising funds for the
American Heart, Cancer and Diabetes Associations.
Pat comes from a military family and continues to
volunteer her time and efforts to packing and sending
boxes to be sent to servicemen and women overseas
as a way of showing her patriotism. Pat is trusted by
all in our community, and we commend her for her
volunteerism.

D. Ramsey Geyer, Sr.
Ramsey is a strong advocate for residents, not just at
our community, but at Life Plan Communities throughout
the state. He serves on the Florida Life Care Residents
Association (FLiCRA) Board of Directors, which requires
him to travel to Tallahassee on many occasions, as they
develop strategies regarding proposed legislation. He also
serves on the Governor’s Advisory Council on Continuing
Care and is the chair for the Financial Review Committee.
With his unending energy and enthusiasm, Ramsey spends
lots of time preparing documents for FLiCRA, all in efforts
to help maintain and improve the quality of Life Plan
Communities. He willingly gives his time and efforts to
advocate and support older adults. Ramsey is truly a gifted
person who works hard for our community and state.

Sandra Litchfield
Sandra’s strong faith in God leads to her to help
others in need. She has done this and more for more
than three years as a manager of our thrift store. She
also provides transportation to other residents and
gives back by being a member of the Resident Council
as our Treasurer. You can find her helping out at all
social events held at Riverside Presbyterian House,
where she makes banners and hands out flyers.
Sandra’s niece is also a resident at our community,
giving them many opportunities to enjoy family time
together. They enjoy
going for bike rides.

Darleen Murray
Shortly after she joined our community, Darleen
realized that our ElderCare lunch program needed
help. Our primary volunteer had health issues, and it
was simply too much for the one team member who
was trying to provide support. Darleen jumped right
in and carried the load on her own, five days a week,
while she worked on recruiting more volunteers to
help.
The ElderCare program is a lifeline for residents
who need assistance and Darleen helped ensure
that her fellow residents had its support. Thank you,
Darleen!

Robert “Bob” Parker
As a past president of the Resident Council
during the early days of the pandemic, and as the
chair of several committees, Bob has spent the last
three years doing everything he can to help our
community. He was an integral part in support of our
outdoor visitation program for Assisted Living and
Nursing Care residents and their families, before the
COVID-19 vaccines became available. He has also
given generously of his time to help us resolve many
sensitive issues, including internal communications
and even traffic issues. We thank Bob for the many
ways in which he has improved Westminster Oaks!

Frances Stewart
Frances strives to set an example to all, to be a good
person and treat others the way they would want to be
treated. With the dedicated heart of a true volunteer,
she has served as the Treasurer of our Resident
Council, served food at resident gatherings, drives
other residents to appointments or for shopping and
even used her own money to buy prizes for Bingo. She
says she does this because it’s the Christian thing to do
– but regardless of why, the Westminster Manor family
appreciates her for her commitment to making our
community a great place to live.

Angel Dameron
In a three-week period in late summer 2021,
our community’s resources were stretched thin with
multiple team members out due to illness. During
that time, Angel stepped up and handled all office
duties with efficiency, professionalism and precision.
Part of these duties included handling all leasing
activities, resident concerns and vendor coordination.
She ensured everything ran as smoothly as normal,
all without having to be asked to do so. We are so
thankful for her dedication to Westminster Gardens
and its residents.

Maribel Graziano
Maribel has been an inspiration to us at
Westminster Woods on Julington Creek. She tackles
difficult problems with a cando attitude, and loves the
chance to solve problems. Helping others gives her the
most satisfaction in life, and she has developed that
further this past year by earning her Certified Nursing
Assistant license.
We are proud to have her as a part of our team
and look forward to more great things from her in the
future!

Veronica Shirley-Scott
Over the last 15 years Veronica has worked in nearly
every capacity in our Dining Services department: Dining
aide, dishwasher, dining tech, assistant cook, cook and
now supervisor. Today, she runs the Crossroads Café to
serve residents and team members, holding down the fort
as a team of one and doing it with style. She remembers
residents’ names and favorite orders, helping with carry-
out orders, and takes care of the busy lunch rush without
missing a beat. We gave her a “Standing Oakvation” last
year for her dedication to making dining in the bistro a
delightful experience. It is with great pleasure that we are
naming her our Team Member of the Year.
