    QUARTERLY REPORT
OCTOBER 2012 – DECEMBER 2012
NSSF has over the years been perceived by its members as an

institution that does not pay members their savings even when

they meet the qualifying requirements. It is believed that NSSF

             pays out only when a member dies.
Below are the statistics showing the types of Benefits offered by NSSF, the
amounts and numbers of members paid per Benefits type:-

      1.   Age Benefit: Paid to members who are 55 years

      2.   Withdrawal Benefit: 50 years and out of employment

      3.   Exempted Employment Benefit: Paid to members subscribing to
           another pension scheme

      4.   Emigration Grant: Paid to Members who are Permanently relocating
           to another country

      5.   Survivors Benefit: Paid to the dependents of the deceased

      6.   Invalidity Benefit: Paid to a person who is incapacitated for gainful
           employment
