This document proposes a concept called Virtual Flow Track (VFT) to help manage crowds and ensure safety in dense, underground subway systems. As city populations grow, subways will become more crowded, increasing risks of accidents. VFT would use location data and displays to create a virtual guidance system that dynamically routes passengers in real-time based on crowd densities. When densities increase, VFT would appear and provide directions to less crowded areas. It describes how VFT could help in overcrowded, dangerous, and special needs situations like stairs by distributing passengers and creating safety zones with dynamic controls.
