Hvilke stoffer varsles? 
I COS har vi 奪bnet en ny rapportering, som vi kalder Varslingslisten. Varslingslisten giver vores kunder overblik over, om de anvender kemiske produkter med indhold af stoffer med SVHC egenskaber (Substances of Very High Concern), som med tiden vil havne p奪 kandidatlisten. 
If淡lge REACH, artikel 33, skal alle virksomheder infor- mere deres kunder, hvis de varer, de s脱lger, indehol- der kandidatlistestoffer. 
Anvendelse af disse s脱rligt problematiske stoffer i EU vil nemlig med tiden kr脱ve en godkendelse under REACH reglerne, som kun kan opn奪s, hvis der ikke findes egnede alternativer. 
Hvorfor varsling af SVHC stoffer? 
Mange virksomheder 淡nsker at undg奪 SVHC stoffer, dels fordi deres moderfirma eller kunder stiller krav om det, eller fordi SVHC stoffer ofte er meget regule- rede og derfor forbundet med store omkostninger ved brug. 
SVHC stoffer er ogs奪 u淡nskede i milj淡m脱rke ordninger og tilstedev脱relsen af dem kan v脱re afg淡rende for, om evt. restprodukter fra produktionen kan s脱lges til genanvendelse i andre processer eller om der skal betales dyrt for bortskaffelse og destruktion. 
God tid til substitution med varslingslisten 
Med den viden Varslingslisten tilf淡rer, f奪r man god tid til substitution og mulighed for at indlede dr淡ftelser med sine leverand淡rer for at finde alternativer allere- de inden stofferne er havnet p奪 kandidatlisten. 
Desuden kan Varslingslisten benyttes i udviklingsaf- delingen og i indk淡b, s奪 man p奪 en proaktiv m奪de helt undg奪r, at f奪 stofferne ind p奪 virksomheden.
