MOVIE SAYs

Water is set in 1938, when India was still under the
colonial rule of the British. Following Hindu tradition,
the marriage of young girl to older men was
commonplace in parts of India. When a man died, his
widow would be forced to spend the rest of her life in a
widows ashram, an institution for widows to make
amends for the sins from her previous life that
supposedly caused her husbands death.
SYNOPSIS

OB LEARNING
    MOTIVATION
    LEADERSHIP
    PERSONALITY
    STRESS
MOTIVATION
Motivation is nothing but setting a trend which our
successors follow .

In the present movie Kalyani and Narayan make a new
trend of breaking the restrictions of the traditions of
those times.

Narayan motivates Kalyani to become free from the
bondage of old customs and tradition and inspires her to
get married to him.
LEADERSHIP
The character of Madhumati reflect on the negative
side of leadership whereas the character of narayan
represent positive side and good quality of leadership.
From this examples of leaders we understand that
whenever we get an opportunity to lead we should
influence others in a positive way so that one could
get the right path of success and not a wrong like
Kalyani. It also reflect that one should not do injustice
with others if one cannot make others life.
PERSONALITY

The personality of Narayan reflects on a well-
balance personality and honest person. His behaviour
is that of a gentlemen and he is emotionally balanced
person. He is a good motivator and a very four-sided
person and co-operation in nature. This character of
Narayan helps us to develop good personality traits.
STRESS
This movie is based on odd situation or unhappy
situation of life and hence throughout the movie we find
or we experience stressful situation.

Widows are expected to lead a monotonous life until
there dying day.

Kalyani was frustated by her life as she was forced to
prostitute.
CONCLUSION
While mehtas film is certainly more than a polemic
against religious system, its nonetheless too easy to
process. The penultimate finale may draw tears, but the
massage drowns in a moralistic well of cheap emotion
considering the continuing oppression of modern
widows, water should offer something more than a
digestible sermon.
THANK YOU
