Barack Obama made proposals on several issues during his 2008 presidential campaign, according to a presentation by 5th grade students. The students explained Obama's positions on education, the environment, healthcare, the economy, Iraq, terrorism and national security, and immigration. Obama proposed early education programs, renewable energy investment, universal healthcare, economic stimulus, withdrawing troops from Iraq, increased security, and immigration reform. The students hoped to better inform people on Obama's stances ahead of the election.
