This is a school project. In this project I have chosen to observe a place named Green Sea Road. This is a place located in Luksefjell, which is located in the municipality of Skien, Telemark county. This is a place I've grown up and like me very well, so I thought this could be a nice place to observe what happens from March to May. You will be able to see the development in power point presentation min. I have not focused on a particular location, but taken pictures along the late pathway, from the beginning of the trail to the end of the trail, so you will see some photos, but also some videos, to one thing, my dog is part of many of pictures, she loves the camera.

- 2. Observation from my nature area: Grønnsjøroad.
- 3. Weather conditions • Temperature: -2 degrees • A little rain in the air. • It is grey and cold.
- 4. Pictures from Saturday, 22/03-2014.
- 7. • I can not hear birds or see other animals. • It is not insects or reptiles that have arrived yet. • It is a lot of snow in the area.
- 9. Water: • The water is covered with ice. • It is quiet.

- 12. Weather conditions • This day it was +13 degrees • It was sunny and hot this day. • Much of the snow that was here a week ago, has begun to melt away.
- 15. • It is still not signs of insects and reptiles.
- 18. It was signs that birds began returning to the autumn in Norway, and the forest began to prepare himself for the spring to come.

- 22. Weather conditions • This day it was +12 degrees. • There are some places where there has been much less snow that day from the previous week. • There are now also many small streams running here and there in the woods and water on the trail.
- 27. Blueberry shrubs • After a week of melting snow and some sun, then it started to get buds on the blueberry shrubs.
- 31. • Some places in the forest where it is closer to the forest, there are some places where there is some snow left. • There is still ice on the water, but one can see that it has become a little thinner in some places.

- 34. Weather conditions • These day it is +13 degrees • Clear Sky, but it's sunny and a lot of wind. • These day I see two black woodpeckers in the forest.
- 36. • A lot has happened in the woods during a week now, the trees got shot and buds and is preparing himself to turn out their leaves. • Almost all of the snow has melted away and created small ponds and rivers.
- 39. • Wood Anemone have arrived. • This day I discover that it has reached a summer bird species as well.
- 44. • Now, all the ice on the water melted away. • Much of the snow that lay of the land around the lake, also melted away.

- 47. Weather conditions • It is +15 degrees these day. • It is sunny, but a little cloudy. • And as you can see, it is starting to get green in the forest.
- 50. • The leaves on the trees begin to arrive, some small shrubs have gotten their leaves completely. • The grass has begun to grow and peeking up from the ground.
- 55. • All the snow is gone. • There are some birds singing. • It is authored no signs of insects, but I have seen two reptiles (Firfisle).

- 60. Weather conditions • It is around +13 degrees • Sunny but a little bit cloudy. • Birds is singing.
- 63. • Strawberry and raspberry bushes have come forward. • Now also the wood violets come forward to. • I see a little stub of a lily konval coming up from the ground. • Gran trees start getting fresh shoots and juniper bush gets new shot.
- 66. • Some birch trees have sprung fully. • Oh I also observed that in some of the ponds along the trail, there were mosquito larvae hatched and swam around. • I also found some bird egg shells on the ground, so this is a sign that some birds have started to lay eggs.
- 70. • This day I discovered that the spiders began to arrive. • And that it had been ants around here. • I saw a bumblebee and had taken a picture. • Oh I spotted a blue summer bird that had arrived.

- 77. Weather conditions • It is around +10 degrees this day. • It is clody end a little bit grey weather. • A lot of birds singing.
- 80. • It is much more grass that has emerged during the week and everything around me is much greener and fresher.
- 83. • Røsslingen which was brown has now become green and started getting small pink / red flowers. • Blueberry bush has also now received their pink / red flowers.

- 89. Weather conditions • Everything in the forest has been alot more green. • Lily of the valley began to show up.
- 93. • The birch tree is in full bloom and it's been lots of grass. • There are also a lot of spiders and ants. • I also managed to discover in the small ponds along the trail, the water flea has arrived and some small full adult mosquito has arrived. • Then I'd take another picture of the little wooden stump I have followed these months, I discovered that it had grown some orange / pink tiny bubbles in one hole. I was wondering if there could be some kind of fungus.
