• The specialist builder license is

 ground support and stabilization;
 steel structuring;
 pre-cast concrete structuring;
 in-situ post-tensioning works;
 site investigations.

Applying for a Singapore
Builder License >>
• The applications for builder
licenses must be filed with the Building
and Construction Authority (BCA) in
Singapore and imply filing the forms issued
by the authorities together with:

 the appointment of an Approved Person
(AP) who can be a sole trader or a
company director;
 the appointment of a Technical Controller
who must be a specialist in the
construction field;
 the fee payment receipt.

• Singapore companies applying for
a builder license must comply with
the following minimum share capital
requirements:

 300,000 SGD for a class 1 general
builder license;
 25,000 SGD for a class 2 general or
specialist builder license.
